Today is the BIG day! Happy 1st anniversary to The Ascender’s Touch!!!! 🌈✨Last May our four directors unified together in Jesus name, dedicating to uplift the hearts of the community one day at a time. 💛 . . Let’s celebrate by spreading the good message of love, hope, and joy on this lovely Friday! We‘ll be giving out care kits to locals in the DFW tomorrow afternoon. . . Feel free to give back in the community somehow, someway this weekend. Whether it’s a card filled with words of encouragement or scriptures reciting the love of Christ. ✨ You’d be surprised how such a gesture can make someone’s day. If you do partake, hashtag #TheAscendersChallenge and we’ll make sure to post it!! 😇 . . Later this year, we will partner with local organizations to do a cookout and donation drive. Happy Friday Everyone!!✨ It’s another day that we are all so blessed to be able to walk in. Reflecting back, our organization is beyond grateful and humble that we are coming across our 1st anniversary as an established Organization in Texas (May 10th, 2018)! 😆✨ . . Our founder, Alyssa Moore, started this journey by dedicating her life to Christ which led to an abundant, yet prophetic life; that’s ordained to be shared with others. 💛 She will be releasing her eye-opening book later this year that’ll bring more depth regarding her journey. . . As we celebrate our anniversary, next week our directors will be giving back to the locals of Dallas by providing aid with care kits and food! We will provide more details soon! 😃 Our Organization is expanding this year and we will love to partner with other local non-profits to continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need! Happy Easter everyone! Today we reminisce and celebrate the gracious act that Jesus performed over 2,000 years ago. Giving His precious life, becoming our sin on the cross so that we may all inherit an enteral life with Him in Heaven. Knowing that there would be those who will [never] accept Him, He did not let such truth stop Him from doing what needed to be done for God’s children. 💙 . . As we celebrate, keep in mind that He rose on the 3rd day and is STILL RISEN. Everyday should be celebrated and gratitude should be given unto The Lord of Lords for what He did. His Holy Spirit is ever so present around us every [single] day. Our organization is beyond grateful that He has never left nor forsaken us. Jesus is more faithful than any man on Earth could ever be.✨ . . During the week of Good Friday all the way up to Easter, we have been reading an devotional called “Jesus : Our Banner of Victory” and it’s an awesome daily devotional on the Bible app that reminds us of the magnitude of His act and how His power can be ignited within all of us. We are free from bondage of sin and we all have the free will to walk the rest of our lives in Christ! Yesterday our organization drove around the DFW passing out carekits to panhandlers and the local homeless. 60% of the individuals we came across had signs mentioning that they are U.S. veterans. 😔 In 2018, it was estimated that 30% of the homeless population are military veterans. . . Our government invests around $1.5 BILLION dollars into the military every year. Many US citizens dedicate their lives to serve for our country and leave their loved ones behind...not knowing if they will ever see them again. It’s very unfortunate that most of them come out of service without the basic funds to be able to make an decent living. They‘re all in our prayers!! Today is the last day of #BlackHistoryMonth. 🙌🏾🖤 We wanted to take the last day to list and acknowledge a few black inventors.😃 Each one of these inventions have made an historical impact all over the world! . . It’s truly amazing to see how many products were created during/after, both the civil war, and the reconstruction in America. It takes an incredible amount of strength and effort to rise above the social standard and to invent useful items for centuries to come. 👏🏾 For the board of our organization, it's an reminder of how intelligent, strong, and resilient people of color are. 🙂 Representation matters. The Ascender’s Touch was created on the basis of uplifting others and spreading the word of God. Not only locally, here in Texas, but globally as well! ☺️💙 Over the course of 5 years, we have sponsored two children that live in Tanzania 🇹🇿 through @compassion . Recently we sponsored a 3rd child who resides in Bolivia. 🇧🇴😊✨ Every time we receive a letter from our sponsored brothers and sister, our hearts completely melt!! 🥰 . . It’s a very humbling experience to be able to help a child and their family by donating a small amount each month. Compassion keeps the children’s photos updated, they allow you to send as many letters as you like, and you’re able to send money for birthday gifts + holidays as well. They’ll even send a photo of the sponsored child with the item that was given for that occasion! 😇 This organization is amazing!! All of our sponsored siblings constantly express their gratitude within every letter and we LOVE responding back with encouraging words + prayers🙂💙. . . We highly encourage you all to sponsor a child through an organization that actually helps shape the lives of the unfortunate.
