Word of The Day – Prelude to Jaw Surgery Post

Hello my dear friends and readers,

I wanted to share today’s word of the day from the book of Peter. 💙

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time,”

‭‭1 PETER‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This is a helpful reminder for myself as I am finally getting close to the end of my recovery from double jaw surgery. I had this surgery due to being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. It is a condition where you don’t breathe correctly during your sleep due to an obstruction. Which creates a high probability of fatality. My obstruction, so happened to be my jaw alignment.

By the grace of God, the swelling in my face is going down by the day. I no longer have sleep apnea and this procedure actually changed my outer appearance significantly. Now that I’m more comfortable and healthy in my flesh, remaining humble is a MUST.

Tomorrow or Thursday, I’ll be posting about my double jaw surgery journey to give you all insight on how tough it is has been and why I have been absent from the blog. 😢 I’ll post a few pictures that won’t embarrass me too much to give you all a visual of how dire it has been. Lol

I miss you all dearly and I pray that everyone is prospering in the best way! God bless. 😃
