On this morning, I encourage you to throw your flesh to the side and strive to be more like our Savior, Jesus. 💙
Some of you may be wondering, “what exactly does that mean??”
As we know the fruits of His Holy Spirit are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self -control.
Each day I ask the Lord to fill me with His Spirit to produce His fruits throughout the day. I personally used to have a really terrible anger problem. If someone dared to ask me a question that I didn’t like, my blood pressure would automatically set to BROIL! 😡😤 (YIKES)
In reality, it would only set my whole day back when I let other people control my mood. I remember watching one of my old coworkers conduct herself in the same as I used to. Outside looking in, it didn’t look as appealing as I thought. It was solely embarrassing and self-inflicting.
At the end of the day, I knew that type of demeanor was not the way God wants His children to act nor think.
When our minds are set on such negativity, we are vulnerable to let the devil steal our joy that God has given us. The devil has already lost the war, I rather not give him any indication that he can take advantage of me while we wait for our Groom (Jesus) to take us home (to paradise, aka, Heaven).
So I’ve learned to ask the Lord for strength, patience and, of course, LOVE to deal with His children….💙
I am striving to make the best of each day that is given to me. If there was no work for me to do here on earth, I would simply not be here.
This life will seem as a mere memory when we are in the final presence of the Lord in Heaven. ✨It is said in the book of Revelations that we will be judged by our works when it is time for the Final Judgement.
“The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they have done.” Revelations 20:13
When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He tells us to turn away from our past behavior and become a new creature. I’m only 26 years old and the things I did in my past were not always right. Although God already knows my faults and wrongdoings, the thought of hearing Him say them out loud in front of a mass of souls seems intimidating. 😯 lol
but don’t worry. The amazing news is, the Lord Himself said We are forgiven when we repent! 🙌🏾 I personally want to ensure that I take each forgiven second to do some Kingdom good, on carnal ground.
By saying NO to my flesh and YES to Jesus… make me more like you Lord!! Amen!

I pray we all are more like our Saviour. What a glorious world this could be! But I find that I fall very short on this most times. I have no patience, and I am quick to anger. But God is helping me, step by step, and His love for us ALL will get us to where He wants us to be, if we get out of the way 🙂

Yes, that is my goal as well. More like Jesus. Glad to see young people putting this into action. (My sons are not much younger than you, 22 and 19, and I love watching them live their faith) Praying for your nonprofit!

Having parents like yourself, showing the youth the ways of God during their life is truly the best thing!! 😇💙 it’s priceless! During the hard times, we can recount and go back to the foundations of what we were taught. 😊 And thank you for your prayers!! That means so much! ☺️ I am excited to continue help the lives of others in any way possible. God bless!
