“If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.”
1 John 4:20 AMP
Needless to say, I’ve come a LONG way since I started growing my relationship with Christ.
Unfortunately, there are still days where my flesh falls short and gets caught up in feeling ways that take a toll on myself, the most.
There’s a certain area that I have been struggling with here recently and it involves loving those who do you wrong.
First off… I DON’T WANT TO DO IT!
but on a serious note:
Forgiving others isn’t easy, but it must be done! 🤷🏾♀️ It’s a positive stigma for your Mental + Spiritual health.
In reality, while you hold a grudge towards someone… that other person is going about their life unbothered by it all.
Meanwhile, that bottled up wrath + anger will trap you into negative mindset that will destroy your spirit, energy and total well-being.
Leading you into a dark pit that never seems to come to a stop.
and you know what?!?!?
Jesus didn’t give His precious life for His children to be in stuck in a sunken place!!!
You deserve to have a healthier + peaceful mindset!!!! 🧠💕
Imagine: Jesus who knew no sin and who never caused any harm to anyone, was bashed + crucified for just being Himself.
At the end of the day, He steadily loved and forgave them after the fact.
This type of love goes beyond our natural and fleshly capabilities.
Such love can only be provided from Jesus. As He resides up in the heavenly places, His Spirit is ever-so present around us right now. 🙌🏾
All we need to do is ask for help.
Have you ever noticed the impact that the first few moments of a brand new day makes?
Depending on what we fill our freshly awaken minds with… it can influence our mental space for the rest of the day.
Every morning I like to spend time with The Lord, asking Him to help me walk out the rest of the day with the fruits of His Spirit.
“22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.“
Galatians 5:22-23 💕
Even in the last hours of Jesus’ crucifixion, He told God to forgive them because they didn’t even REALIZE the extent of their wrongful actions.
If someone has done anything toward you or someone you know…. it’s best to forgive them, pray for them and for yourself to move on.
Sometimes this negative feeling is rooted deeper than we realize. If it seems to be reoccurring, ask God to help you discover WHY you are feeling this way and to remove it as well. 🙏
Whatever happened, God knows the situation. He had a front row view.
Struggling to be the bigger person time to time, is okay.
We are all human, we may stumble but there’s nothing that time + Jesus can’t fix. 🙌🏾
Jesus forgave, so can we!
The point of this post is to encourage you to ASK God for His heavenly assistance. He is listening and He can do so much more than what our minds are capable of thinking.
As long as it aligns with His word, He will do it. You have to exercise faith and trust! When you ask God for things that seem impossible to us human beings, it delights Him to know that YOU trust Him that much.
He knows that He can make anything happen, but He wants you to realize that as well.
- Do not let negative energies or thought processes overtake you.
- Give them to God and sit back to watch His glory take action in your life.
We got this loves!!! 💕
