Verses For Discouragement

Hello Loves!!

It may be the middle of the week but we have some more days to go before the weekend.

Even though I’ve been extremely busy, somehow my flesh has been extremely distracted and attacked the past few days. 😣

I notice this phenomenon tends to happen when I am in the process of doing great works of The Lord but I refuse to let it prevail.🙅‍♀️

The Holy Spirit has always taught me to block these thoughts by staying rooted in His word 24/7, as well as, being absent from the world (social media).

“Television, radio, social media. The 24/7 news cycle plows forward mercilessly on our desks, in our cars and in our pockets. Thousands and thousands of messages and voices bombard us from the moment we wake, fighting for our attention. All we see and hear, all day long, is news. And most of it is bad.” – Pastor Joseph Prince

Down below I listed a few of my favorite scriptures that I will be meditating on to get me through these fleshly distractions.

I’m more than determined to walk out the remaining of the days on a positive foot and this is just the start!

If you’re reading this and you are currently going through a stumbling block, let me say that I know we will get through this together!!

We have to keep the faith and let God work on our behalf.

It is already done.

Fear, worry or doubt has no room in the hearts of Gods’ children.

“Be Strong and Courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.”

 Deuteronomy 31: 6 AMP

“But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.”

Psalms 59:16 NIV

“When doubts filled my mind, Your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”

Psalms 94:19

“God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out.”

1 Corinthians 10:13

“Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Philippians 4:8 KJV

“Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

“For I will restore health to you and I will heal your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “This is Zion; no one seeks her and no one cares for her.”‘

Jeremiah 30:17 AMP

“This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it] — a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],”

Hebrews 6: 19 AMP

Prayer for God’s Provision:

“Dear Father God, Thank You for Your unfailing love for me, Your blessings, and goodness. Thank You for Your faithfulness to guide me and see me through times of uncertainty, for lifting me up, and setting me on high. Thank You for Scripture that comforts and reminds me of Your promises, plan, and provision. Thank you for taking away my fears and worries, the what-ifs, and reminding me that my help comes from You. Help me be a good steward and to sow wisely. In Christ’s Name, Amen. – Renee Davis”
