Verse of the Day + Harvest America ‘18

“And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].

What truth in this verse!!!! tribulations are never easy but they surely provide an extra “umphh” into our spiritual maturity.

The MAIN question I ask The Lord during my time of trouble is:

  1. What do you want me to learn from this situation Lord?

There is a reason behind it all.

Ultimately, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Whether you spent it with family or kicked back and soaked it all in! ❤️

Yesterday, there was an Christian Event called “Harvest America”! My family and I went a few years back and it was a blast!

It was a free Christian event at the cowboys stadium inviting all types of people and backgrounds to join together for Christ.

They had a list of Christian artists perform at the event.

  • Trip Lee
  • KB
  • Tedashii
  • Phil Wickham
  • Switchfoot
  • Crowder
  • And Chris Tomlin.

I’ve seen all of them perform before and it never gets old! They have such an thriving spirit that gets yours ready to move!

After the concert, Greg Laurie preached on the hot topic of suicide and the correlation that money does not bring happiness.

It was such a good word and one that many others needed to hear!!!!!

Jesus is the answer.

Before the end of the service, Greg Laurie invited those who have not received Christ to walk down onto the field to commit their lives unto Him at that time.

Out of love. No fear. Just love! ❤️

Last year, over 35,000 people gave their lives to The Lord from this event.

I do not know the numbers from last night but the field was extremely full! Hallelujah!!!

My heart is full and I am very thankful to be apart of #HarvestAmerica!!

Although I’m not too thrilled about going to work this morning, nothing will stop the joy that The Lord has so graciously provided me this morning!!!!!

Don’t let the devil stop you either! Rejoice and enjoy the day my friends!!!!
