Today is the second day of my journey into excerpt of The Prophetic Advantage.

After reading Day 1 of this excerpt, I’ve been reminded that we are oracles of God.

What an honor!

We as children of God are chosen to receive divine messages directly from God. I am thankful that we are considered worthy enough to withhold such greatness & truth!! 😃

If Jesus did not give His life on the cross for us, this would not be obtainable my friends.

…. could make this possible. His sacrifice was an overpayment. We receive access to ALL of Him b e c a u s e of Him. He is the definition of True L O V E. (Agape) ❤️

When I discovered that I was called to be a prophet, I knew great responsibilities would follow. At first, I was intimidated.. I can’t lie. Fortunately, I was quickly soothed by The Lord; Ensuring me that He will equip me for such a calling.

As I studied and read upon some of prophets in the Bible, it became evident that God will never appoint you to a higher calling and “leave you hanging” to figure it out for yourself! 🙌

Prophets have their Highs and they also have their Lows. One consistency throughout it all, is the favor of God. He is always there with a way that we naturally cannot see.🙏

Now….. Let’s see what other “prophetic advantages” are within today’s excerpt: I am very curious!

Day 2:

Character in the Prophetic Ministry 🌹

Prophets and prophetic people must walk in love, humility, and purity. Whenever we talk about character we are referring to your personality, attitude, and behavior patterns. Doctrine, gifting, and character all work together. The call to the prophetic ministry requires a process of maturing. Prophets are called, trained, and commissioned.

We are to give all diligence in developing our character. Our character will determine the level of revelation and power the Lord will entrust to us. Development of character gives you the capacity to carry the authority of kingdom.

The verses mention virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (love). Notice that knowledge is included. I believe ignorance can be a character issue. True prophets should have knowledge, especially knowledge of the Word of God.

Secondly notice that he who lacks these things is blind (v. 9). Lack of character development will result in blindness. There is no way you can be effective in the prophetic ministry with blindness in your life.

Prophets have a calling from heaven. How do we confirm this calling? The answer is by developing our character with all diligence. A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.

“who are being protected and shielded by the power of God through your faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time. In this you rejoice greatly, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
