The Prophetic Advantage: Day 3 🌹

We are officially half way through the week. Thank God for that factor alone!!🙌💃

Today is the 3rd day of “The Prophetic Advantage” excerpt.

Day 2 quickly went over the characteristics and fruit of the Spirit; which are qualities that God needs His children to need to obtain as we spend our days here on earth. Growing into spiritual maturity. Not to mention, we ARE in the last days. There is not denying that.

I want to spend my time doing what I should for the Kingdom of God. Nothing less. 🤘🏾

Today’s is titled “Prophetic Timing“. As we know, God’s timing is everything. His timing goes beyond our understanding, yet it is ever so perfect and it works out in our favor. 🙏✨

Check it out!! :

Day 3:

Prophetic Timing 🌹

There is nothing more important than time. Time is the measure of life. You become what you do with your time.

God created time and placed man in it, but God doesn’t live in time. Time was created to measure life and to take man out of eternity because eternity is timeless. Whatever happens in eternity lasts forever. It was grace and love that protected Adam in his sin state from eating from the tree of life unless he would have been an eternal sinner. You don’t want to leave time without Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

As we begin to understand that our times, our days, and the plan for our lives are in the hands of God (Ps. 31:5), we can get a sense of how important it is to hear from Him concerning that plan. Knowing what God has planned for your life and how He wants you to live out His plan is part of the prophetic advantage. You have access and can know how to get your feet in perfect time. By the Spirit of God you can be at the right place at the right time with the right people doing the right thing hearing the right message.

If you ask God to help you take inventory of where you are rightnow, how would you say your life is measuring up to the plan of God? Are you where you are supposed to be right now?

“But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.”

Psalms 31:14-15 KJV

Feel free to answer her question, I will give you guys my intake with a response tomorrow!

Happy Wednesday! 😃😃

The Prophetic Advantage: Day 2 🌹

Today is the second day of my journey into excerpt of The Prophetic Advantage.

After reading Day 1 of this excerpt, I’ve been reminded that we are oracles of God.

What an honor!

We as children of God are chosen to receive divine messages directly from God. I am thankful that we are considered worthy enough to withhold such greatness & truth!! 😃

If Jesus did not give His life on the cross for us, this would not be obtainable my friends.

…. could make this possible. His sacrifice was an overpayment. We receive access to ALL of Him b e c a u s e of Him. He is the definition of True L O V E. (Agape) ❤️

When I discovered that I was called to be a prophet, I knew great responsibilities would follow. At first, I was intimidated.. I can’t lie. Fortunately, I was quickly soothed by The Lord; Ensuring me that He will equip me for such a calling.

As I studied and read upon some of prophets in the Bible, it became evident that God will never appoint you to a higher calling and “leave you hanging” to figure it out for yourself! 🙌

Prophets have their Highs and they also have their Lows. One consistency throughout it all, is the favor of God. He is always there with a way that we naturally cannot see.🙏

Now….. Let’s see what other “prophetic advantages” are within today’s excerpt: I am very curious!

Day 2:

Character in the Prophetic Ministry 🌹

Prophets and prophetic people must walk in love, humility, and purity. Whenever we talk about character we are referring to your personality, attitude, and behavior patterns. Doctrine, gifting, and character all work together. The call to the prophetic ministry requires a process of maturing. Prophets are called, trained, and commissioned.

We are to give all diligence in developing our character. Our character will determine the level of revelation and power the Lord will entrust to us. Development of character gives you the capacity to carry the authority of kingdom.

The verses mention virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (love). Notice that knowledge is included. I believe ignorance can be a character issue. True prophets should have knowledge, especially knowledge of the Word of God.

Secondly notice that he who lacks these things is blind (v. 9). Lack of character development will result in blindness. There is no way you can be effective in the prophetic ministry with blindness in your life.

Prophets have a calling from heaven. How do we confirm this calling? The answer is by developing our character with all diligence. A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.

“who are being protected and shielded by the power of God through your faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time. In this you rejoice greatly, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

‭‭1 PETER‬ ‭1:5-7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Prophetic Advantage : Day 1 🌹

Prophecy is truly astonishing and intrigues me. I’ve been wanting to study and meditate on prophecy more than I have been in the past year.

I was led to a 6-day excerpt that is based from a book called “The Prophetic Advantage” by Michelle McClain-Walters.

In The Prophetic Advantage Michelle McClain delivers a practical, comprehensive, and balanced look at the role of the prophetic ministry in today’s world. Using the lion as an example, she encourages believers to rise up in boldness, power, and strength, as she…

·          Provides a clear understanding of the biblical mandates and mission of the prophetic

·          Outlines the function and focus that prophets should exhibit

·          Tackles the issues of prophetic operation and balance

·          Gives one hundred advantages that come to those who receive a revelation from God through the voice of the prophetic.

Walk with me as I take on this daily excerpt during this new upcoming week. 😃 feel free to share you thoughts on the passages!!

Day 1 🌹:

We are living in days of tremendous crisis and turmoil. The Lord has set the stage where no one with a carnal mind can discern what is happening in our society socially, economically, or militarily. If there was ever a time when God’s people needed an advantage, it is now. The Lord in His mercy is releasing revelation knowledge through His prophets that will empower the people of God with wisdom, direction, and insight into the council of His will.

The world is in desperate need of the voice of God. If the church is to be a force in the world. If Christians are to be a transformative voice to the next generation. We need to be tuned in to what God wants to tell us.

Israel had an advantage over the other nations because they possessed the oracles of God. The prophetic Scriptures gave Israel an advantage in preparing them for the coming Messiah.

The Lord is empowering the church with an anointing to communicate His heart and mind accurately. The church will speak as an oracle of God.

When we speak prophetically, we are speaking as the oracles of God. This will give us an advantage in all things pertaining to our lives. We have an advantage, just as Israel had an advantage. This is called the prophetic advantage.

“Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

1 PETER 4:11 AMP

“Then what is the advantage of the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? Great in every respect. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God [His very words].”

Mentors In Christ

One of the many ways that God develops us is through the wisdom of others as His wisdom and teaching is shown to us through those people we look up to.

1 Peter 5:1-11 is one of many passages that stresses the importance of mentoring others and being available to God to shape others into His image.

“Therefore, I strongly urge the elders among you [pastors, spiritual leaders of the church], as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory that is to be revealed: shepherd and guide and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God;

and not [motivated] for shameful gain, but with wholehearted enthusiasm; not lording it over those assigned to your care [do not be arrogant or overbearing], but be examples [of Christian living] to the flock [set a pattern of integrity for your congregation].

And when the Chief Shepherd (Christ) appears, you will receive the [conqueror’s] unfading crown of glory.

Likewise, you younger men [of lesser rank and experience], be subject to your elders [seek their counsel]; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another [tie on the servant’s apron],

for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD [the disdainful, the presumptuous, and He defeats them], BUT HE GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.

But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack–rooted, established, immovable], knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. [You do not suffer alone.]

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].

To Him be dominion (power, authority, sovereignty) forever and ever. Amen.”

‭‭1 PETER‬ ‭5:1-11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Who are those mentors in your life that have helped you get to the place you are today in your relationship with Christ? It may be a mentor, a teacher, a pastor, a family member, or a close friend that has invested their wisdom, knowledge and experience into your life.

As for me, my main mentor in Christ has always been my mother. Growing up, she never drank and never cursed. She is always kind to other people and she constantly goes out of her way to help strangers. Even prayed for them if she was called to do so.

I used to be so naive. I didn’t understand why she was not more like the world. Meanwhile my friends could do certain things that my mother would not allow me to;

I used to think to myself “why is my mom different from my friends moms?!”

Letting such thoughts aggravate me to the extreme.

Fast forward, now being 25 years old;

I can look back and truly say, THANK YOU GOD! He blessed me to be able to grow up in a family with an wonderful example of how Christ wants us to live.

Yet, strong in Him!

Take time to remember those key people God has placed in your life. Never forget the investment they have made in you. ❤️

Happy Friday: Let’s Train Into The Weekend!

What a week it has been!! Here in Texas, we have been feeling more like Seattle due to the non-stop, pouring rain. This has been going for over a week now.

Down here, if it is not sunny and clear skies… we really aren’t sure what to do. Haha. 😅

This type of weather is actually my favorite weather to do creative activities. I usually like to draw and paint. Being given inspiration from cloudy skies and the Holy Spirit.

This time around, I haven’t been doing any creative activities. Just a whole lot of this……

Every evening I lie in bed and think about how I should be working out instead.

While working out our bodies is one thing, we also need to work out and train through spiritually as well.

Today’s verse speaks about JUST that:

“For physical training is of some value, but godliness (spiritual training) is of value in everything and in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and for the life to come.”

‭‭1 TIMOTHY‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Let’s gear up and do some spiritual training into, as well as, throughout the weekend! The Holy Spirit is always speaking…providing Godly wisdom, but are we listening? 👂✨

Food for thought my friends!!! Have a wonderful Friday.

Blog: 2 Year Anniversary

Earlier this week, while I was scrolling through my notifications on WordPress. I came across the notification that my blog is officially 2 years old!!! 🎉🎉

It is awesome that I was led to create this blog 2 years back from now. When it comes to dates and time, reflecting on what was occurring in my life at that time, is very important to me.

A year prior to become apart of WordPress, I was going through the most difficult time of my life.

At the time, the devil wanted to me think I was LOSING everything and LOSING in life, period!

Little did I know, at that very moment, God was moving on my behalf. Letting me GAIN more than I ever thought I could.

Many thanks to all who are joining me as I continue this lovely ride.

Mid-week Devotional: Stirred Up To Pray

Today’s topic is called “Stirred Up to Pray” and it is an excerpt by James McDonald.

Paul gives us a term that really helps us describe the kind of prayer we’re going after—unceasing.

Unceasing prayer brings the glory of God down. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says we are to “Pray without ceasing.”. It means that just as you are always physically breathing in and out as you go about your day, you should always be spiritually in a conversation with God.

Always talking: “Yes, Lord;” and “See that, Father?” and “Help me, God,” and always, always in an attitude of prayer.

When it comes to prayer, God Himself is in the stirring-up business. He doesn’t do it for His own good but for our good.

We need to pray unceasingly because it is immeasurably good for us!

Let’s look closely at God’s move to stir up Jeremiah (and us) to prayer:

“The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah a second time while he was still shut in the court of the guard. Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it—the LORD is His name: ‘Call to Me, and I will answer and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known’” (Jeremiah 33:1-3).

Within these verses are four distinct promises from God to Jeremiah related to prayer. Do you see them? And when you do pray, ask God to bring you to constantly pray during your times of trouble and even during your times of rest.

“Stirring things” are around us every moment, but we need the eyes and heart to see them.

Prayer: “Father, continue to stir me toward a consistent attitude of prayer so that my sensitivity to immediate and momentary times for prayer is increased. Help me not only to pray without ceasing but to jump to special invitations to pray. Thank You for drawing near to me as I draw near to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

He Will Help You : Verse of The Day

Happy Monday Everyone! Monday’s aren’t everyone’s favorite day of the week. Good news is, as we are here, GOD IS TOO!

For any and everything, we must continue to fight the good fight of faith. Looking to our Heavenly Father.. who will work all things out in our favor.

Here is a sweet + simple reminder:

Rest easy while the Lord handles it.

Knowing that God will work everything out for His Children’s good is very comforting to me. The devil wants us to worry about what we can do to fix a situation. When we need to relax and keep the faith that GOD will fix (work it out) for us.

Although I am currently going through an exhausting process to find a house to rent by the end of next month; I know God already has it worked out.

I do not know HOW nor am I concerned about that either.

During the darkest times of my life.

During the time when my closest friend/roommate turned her back on me.

During the times where I felt like an outsider while attending college.

During the times that I pondered to take my life rather than living out the very greatness that God blessed me with…

His loving hand and protection have been efficiently faithful. Constantly ensuring me that better was coming.

And it did.

And it will continue to do so.

As long as I am on this earth, I know the Lord is by my side. Being a shield against the wicked forces that roam the earth.

Food for Thought: Are you undergoing an scenario that is calling you to exercise your faith? Remember the sweet reminder that is within today’s word of the day. ❤️
