Don’t Worry, God’s Got It!

So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” MATTHEW 6:34 AMP

                   *Takes a deep breathe*

Question is: Do you trust God enough to let him take care of your worries?

He has woken us up into a brand new day, that is filled with new grace and new mercy. I dare you to EXPECT great things to happen to you and your family today! The Lord has instructed us not to worry about the coming days and what they hold. Lets focus on today!

Happy Friday everyone. 😊

My Journey as an Inspired Artist :)

When I created this blog, I did it due to the Lord calling me into a whole new life / new journey. Which brought along new talents, visions/dreams and gifts altogether. Including my blog name: The Ascender’s Touch. (Back story post link here: ) Looking back, it’s been a complete two years of this journey and my love for drawing has developed so much. I used to doodle when I was younger but ever since this newfound gift from the Holy Spirit, He has taught me how to grow as an artist.

I used to rush to my sketch pad and start drawing as the Lord revealed more to me each day. 24 hours / 7 days a week. Day or night; the Lord never failed to stop showing me his wonders that are invisible to the natural and naked human eye.

There’s one catch that is completely obvious but WEIRDLY enough hard to accept; is the fact that God is a WAY better artist than I am. lol

I foolishly got frustrated at one point in time, thinking “I might as well not draw anything that the Lord has shown because it would not mask the same beauty“. I, oh so, desperately wanted to reflect God’s artwork on paper to give examples to demonstrate such greatness to fellow believers and non-believers as well.

At the same time, when this all began I was not working full time. (I MISS IT haha). I had so much free time on my hands to express myself through drawing, writing, singing… etc.

Now that I do work back in corporate america nothing sounds better to me than talking to the Lord and drawing after a long, stressful day of work. It continues to give me a newfound joy that is abundantly refreshing!

My current project is this Galaxy Princess;  I started working on her just for fun because it’s a drawing that my soul has been wanting to do for so long. It isn’t from a dream but yet, I feel so connected to it.

Thursday Devotional: “Wait with Patience” by Joyce Meyer

Good Morning fellow readers!

Friday is only one day away, BUT I surely need a “pick me up” to get me through this day that is laid out in front of me.

Reading a daily devotional helps me tremendously. It gives me a certain topic/scripture to meditate on during work, during lunch and even after work. The one for today is an excerpt by Joyce Meyer about waiting with patience. Patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit and without a doubt, I ask the Lord for more of it each day. As the pressures of life continue to build, so should our patience with God and his will for our lives.

Take a look and have a wonderful day everyone!

Many people want change, but they don’t want to go through the waiting process. But the truth is, waiting is a given, we are going to wait. The question is, are we going to wait the wrong or right way? If we wait the wrong way, we’ll be miserable; but if we decide to wait God’s way, we can become patient and actually enjoy the wait.

It takes practice, but as we let God help us in each situation, we develop patience, which is one of the most important Christian virtues. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. It’s developed only under trial, so we must not run from difficult situations.

As we develop patience, the Bible says we finally feel completely satisfied, lacking nothing. Even our relationship with God involves progressive changes. We learn to trust Him in a deeper way by going through many experiences that require us to wait longer than we’d like.

Trust me, the waiting may be hard, but it will make you stronger. The benefits that patience brings are certainly worth any uncomfortable wait!

Prayer Starter: God, I want to change and grow deeper in my relationship with You. I understand that this means developing patience, but I know that I will grow stronger as You develop patience in me.”
