Good morning my friends! I am sending out some Thursday morning encouragement. I am sure most of you are about to start your day at work. Most mornings, it is really hard to get up and start the day. Especially when your bed feels a lot better than your office desk chair. As a matter of fact, a daily dose of encouragement is exactly what I needed each day before and during work. During my time of tribulation, it was hard knowing that God can simply nod his head and miraculously save me from it all. To go to work and not be delivered in the way that I expected was difficult.

Disappointment is a challenge and life lesson that is tremendously hard to learn. God was teaching me to know his true meaning of patience and to grow my faith in him. As he brought me through the past trials and tribulations, I needed to constantly remember how great it felt when that deliverance finally came through.

As life continues to go by, we naturally tend to forget the feelings we felt during the times of tribulation. When we go through tribulations, that is when we look and seek God the most. That is why I like to write and look back on my past situations in life. Reminding myself what the Lord has done for me and how it will only get better from there. I learned to rely on him while resisting temptation every day. As hard as it was, I had to fully TRUST in him. Without Jesus I am a lost cause. Thank God, he is a loving and faithful God. No matter how many times I fail, he’s there to lift me up.

I encourage you to keep a few inspirational scriptures close by while you are working. I often found myself studying the word when my coworkers pushed my fleshly limits. I prayed throughout the day for God to take control and give me strength. No matter what is going on, hang in there! Deliverance is on it’s way. We are more than conquers through Jesus Christ. The following scriptures are a few of my favorites! Read and enjoy. Have a wonderful Thursday!

“Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4 (NIV)

“And we know that all things work together for the good, to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)
