Good morning beautiful people!
Whew! Has it been a long week for you? Are you thrilled that the weekend has arrived?? I surely am! Last night my mother was feeling some pain and pressure in her left arm. She has a history with high blood pressure so she ended up checking into the hospital here in Dallas, Tx.
After waiting 5hours in the ER, the doctor finally made a decision to keep her over night. So I drove back to her house (10minutes away) to grab some snacks and blankets. I could tell we both had a longgggg night ahead of us. As I arrived back, they were ready to take her to the official room located in the southern part of the main hospital. A different set of nurses entered to get a detailed analysis of her pain & medications. The whole ordeal lasted all night long. I barely got an hour of sleep. Each minute I wanted to complain but I felt selfish for doing so. I am thankful I am off to tend to my mother in her time of need. Without a doubt, she would do the same thing for me.
One of her favorite doctors came to visit her this morning and reassured her that everything is fine. They are going to a “stress test” before they clear her for good. I am thankful that nothing serious was going on. It is another day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice in it!
What are some things that you are thankful for? 🙂 I would love to hear some feedback! Thanks for reading!!
I am so sorry about your mother and I hope she gets better quickly!
It’s been a stressful week in my household too. We recently got the news that my main source of income is selling their website and will no longer be needing me as a freelancer. I’ve been applying like crazy to other websites, but I know things will work out!
That being said, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work there for so long and use it as a stepping stone to get to bigger and better things.
I hope your weekend is a little less stressful than you week, and I agree with you on “thank god it’s Friday!”.

I am glad you realize the job was a great opportunity! I’m sure you will contribute a lot to your next job as well. Keep praying. God will work something out for you and your family! I hope you have a wonderful weekend 🙂
